We are known for our community outreach and multi-faceted family programs such as our youth and adult education ministries, Faith Forest children's Sunday school, small groups, and our care and support ministries.

We invite and welcome all. Come for a visit...stay for a journey!

Community Concert Series

All are invited to monthly weeknight concerts held on the third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in our Sanctuary. There is no admission charge. Contact the Church Office at admin@fpclg.org for more information.

Next Up: February 17: Trio Novus

Trio Novus—featuring pianist Miguel Sousa, violinist James Watts and cellist Rachel Hsieh—will present the Antonín Dvořák’s Piano Trio No. 1, a richly expressive work known for its lyrical beauty and emotional depth. The trio will also perform Clara Schumann’s Piano Trio, a radiant and intimate composition that highlights her distinctive voice within the Romantic tradition. Together, these works invite listeners into a reflective and inspiring musical experience.

Exploring Mission through Media

Mission and Outreach invites all to join us for a discussion of the book Reaching Out by Francisco Jimenez, a true story of Jimenez’s experiences as a Mexican immigrant from a migrant worker family who navigates poverty and pursues a college education. This well-regarded autobiography is a manageable 200 pages (5-hour audiobook.)

Partnership with Living Waters for the World

First Presbyterian Church of La Grange currently has covenants with five partner communities in El Salvador. We have been supporting El Espino with upgrades that allow their water team to produce much more clean water that the community desperately needs. We sent a team to El Paraíso in 2022, to San Cristóbal in 2023, to San Rafael Cedros in 2024 and to Mercedes Umaña in 2025 to aid in the construction of water purification systems with accompanying public health education for their communities. Contact the Church Office at admin@fpclg.org to find out how to get involved!

Trivia Night Fundraiser

We plan to send a team to our sixth partner community in El Salvador in the summer of 2026 and invite you to our annual Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, February 28, to help us continue this vital ministry!

Please contact the Church Office at admin@fpclg.org if you have an auction item to donate. Sign-up details to come, but spread the word and start gathering your family, friends and neighbors…
