Kids & Teens

Nursery (infants and toddlers)

The Nursery is available during the Sunday 10:00 a.m. worship service. Parents may drop their kids before or any time during worship. The Nursery is staffed by two employees, one of whom is a former registered nurse, who complete annual training on child protection and safety. The nursery is a safe and playful space filled with books, trains and toys.

Noah’s Ark Preschool (ages 2-5)

Noah’s Ark meets during the 10:00 a.m. worship service. Children have the option of attending the beginning of the worship service with their family and heading to the Nursery after the Time for Children or coming to the Nursery before worship begins and moving to the sanctuary as a class, for Time for Children. Attendants are available in the Nursery starting at 9:45 a.m. During Noah's Ark, the children enjoy a Bible story, song and simple craft, followed by play time.

Elementary School

Faith Forest (grades K-4)

Join us for Faith Forest! Elementary-aged kids are invited to experience faith-filled fun every Sunday during our 10:00 a.m. worship service. After joining their families for the beginning of the service and "Time for Children," kids transition to the Faith Forest room where they'll explore Bible stories through exciting activities such as arts and crafts, gardening, baking and videos. ‘Rooted in Service’ Summer Camp, June 8-12, 2026

Middle schoolers entering 5th through 8th grade are invited to join us for a meaningful week of serving others at our Rooted in Service Summer Camp, June 8-12, 9:00-11:30 a.m.! Together we will grow in compassion, teamwork and faith as we learn how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in our community.

Throughout the week, campers will take part in hands-on service projects, meet local organizations and reflect on how we can care for our neighbors. Each day offers a new opportunity to serve and learn:

Monday (at the church) – We’ll kick off camp by making food and laundry pods for BEDS, an organization that serves members of our community experiencing homelessness.

Tuesday (off-site) – We’ll travel to Share Food Share Love Food Pantry to help support their work providing food to families in need.

Wednesday (off-site) – Campers will visit Helping Hand to support programs that serve children and adults with disabilities.

Thursday (at the church) – We’ll create items to donate to Liberation Library and Bethlehem Woods, supporting literacy and outreach efforts.

Friday (celebration day!) – After a week of service, we’ll celebrate our hard work with a trip to the movie theater together. (Pick-up time will be later than usual on Friday depending on the length of the movie.)

We will always meet and end at FPCLG. Snacks will be provided. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

Rooted in Service Camp is a great way for middle schoolers to build friendships, learn about community needs and discover the joy of helping others. Please note: your child will be carefully supervised at all times, at all locations, by adult, college and high school volunteers.

Use the SignUp Genius here to let us know which days your child(ren) can attend, and note their ages in the comment section. The cost is $35. Payment may be made through our online Giving page, through Venmo or by cash or check (made out to FPCLG) to the Church Office. Contact Director of Christian Education Kelly Higgins with questions at khiggins@fpclg.org.

We hope you’ll join us for this inspiring week of service!
