Ministry Opportunities

Lay Readers: We are always looking for individuals to help with readings and prayer within our Church service. If you are interested please email the church office.

New Membership Hosts: The Membership Committee is in need of hosts for their upcoming membership classes to meet and greet individuals. If you are interested please contact the church office.

Each Sunday there are both Ushers and Greeters available to welcome our members, guests and friends.

Ushers serve on one-month rotations two times each year and occasionally may be asked to usher at special services throughout the church year. For more information or to make this your ministry, call Bill Ackerman at 708.579.1113.

Greeters stand at each of the Sanctuary doors and greet people coming into worship. Your Deacon may call and ask if you and/or your family would like to serve as a Greeter for a certain Sunday. All that is required is a smile, a warm handshake, and an offer of grace.
